Well, got my surgery over with, they took out my appendix, a bit of my colon and the tumor that was bothering everything. I did get a call from the Doc, the tumor was benign, very good news!! I'm pretty darn sore and feel like a mack truck ran over me but other then that not too bad or at least bearable.
One great thing is I've manage to NOT smoke through all this. Man, I wanted one bad earlier today and between that and the pain I was ready to pull some heads off. I hadn't been taking my meds since I was taking everything else for the surgery but I did take one tonight and that seem to help that urge... I want to eat all the time which is a problem for me. It's either smoke or eat.. good grief!! For some reason I want strawberry licorice when I don't smoke... ya know how fattening that is!! I wish I could just stop smoking and be done with it. I think I'm going to have to rest, my belly/abdomen hurts......
Here it is 2017! I have been smoke free for over a year. I got back into church and saved after 38 years..... I struggled at first but then I had my pastor pray for me and that was that! Haven't smoked since. PTL... My Church? New Beginnings Apostolic Church. Loving the Lord and my new life!!!

I haven't done too bad on my "not Smoking" I haven't had a smoke or a puff off a smoke in 2 weeks. So that's pretty darn good for me. The last 3 days have been pretty hard and tonight has been really hard for some reason, I'm really thinking about ciggy's... I have none in the house so the only way I would have one is to run to Hucks up the street and buy some. No way I'm going to do that tonight so guess I really don't want one as bad as I think. Funny the Chantix works but you could almost talk your self into having a smoke, it's a strange feeling. I don't really have that drastic urge just a nervous feeling of wanting to have a smoke, hard to explain. But, I'm still proud of myself and I know hubby is really proud of me. but If I can make it to 3 months without one it will be a month longer then the last time I tried to stop and I think it will work this time. I do feel better and that stupid cough during the night is gone so guess that's a good thing. Gonna keep trying.....
